Triage
The mobile app that lets technicians inspect and log vehicles right at their workbench. No more running to desktops and dealing with legacy systems. Delivered in 6 weeks it provides users in real workshop conditions, quick taps, guided steps, and clear photo capture. With features like NFC tagging to track bike locations, it made processing faster, data cleaner, and technicians happier.
Highlights
Real World Issues. Real World Solutions
Designed to help real world problems like greasy gloves, abraded glasses, and the frustration of trying to tap through a cluttered app when you’re handling a motorcycle.
Highlights
Quick. Fast. Explicit
Improving the speed, accuracy, and vigour of motorcycle assessments, benefiting claimants, insurers, and technicians.
The Problem
Technicians faced major inefficiencies due to the need to move between bikes and desktop computers. This caused incomplete data capture, frequent errors, and inconsistent records.
Discovery
I interviewed technicians and mapped out their current workflows to identify where errors and delays occurred most.
Strategy
I designed a mobile-first app to remove the need for physical movement and standardise data entry using guided inputs. As a team we wanted to work fast and start receiving feedback as soon as possible.
Our MVP
Prioritised features and wait for feedback

The Solution
The MVP was successful, so we added a major new feature, NFC-based bike location tagging to promote productivity and order.

Major Changes
Outcomes
The app became a critical tool in technician workflows, reducing errors and increasing speed — while laying the groundwork for further efficiency across departments.
